The Coker University Founder’s Scholarship is awarded based on high school cumulative grade point average.

Transfer Scholarship

The Transfer Scholarship is provided to transfer students and is based on the student’s previous cumulative grade point average.

Pell Grant is free aid based on student need determined by the FAFSA. There is a six year lifetime limit.

South Carolina Resident Programs

SC TUITION GRANT

SC Tuition Grant is free aid from the state of South Carolina. To be eligible, a student must be a South Carolina resident, complete a FAFSA prior to June 30th each year, and enroll full-time each year. Awards are partially need-based and are disbursed twice per year.

ANNUAL VALUE up to $4,800

4-YEAR VALUE up to $19,200
Palmetto Fellows Scholarship

The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship is a merit-based program that recognizes the
most academically talented high school seniors. Palmetto Fellows may receive up to $6,700 their freshman year and up to $7,500 for their sophomore, junior, and senior years. Half of the scholarship is awarded in the fall term and half in the spring term.

*Students may receive the Palmetto Fellows, Hope, or Life scholarship, but only one of the three.
Life Scholarship

Life Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to students who meet the requirements set by the SC Commission on Higher Education. Awards are partially need-based and are disbursed twice per year.

ANNUAL VALUE up to $5,000

4-YEAR VALUE up to $20,000

*Students may receive the Palmetto Fellows, Hope, or Life scholarship, but only one of the three.
Hope Scholarship

The Hope scholarship is a merit-based scholarship created for students attending a four-year institution who do not qualify for the LIFE or Palmetto Fellows Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded during the freshman year of attendance only.
